Happiness is with me today.  I finally made amends with my father after years of his absence.  Given, he is still the same selfish man that I always knew him to be, but to have him call me his little girl again makes me feel like there’s still hope.

I thought about my depression today and thought about all the people who are experiencing what I am experiencing or experiencing something even worse and I thank God that I am not alone.  And I can only pray that those who experience it will undergo the slow transformation I am undergoing into the rightful path.  I am getting stronger with each day and with each experience.  Today, my father has helped me smile.
